GFD represents the unification of three esteemed businesses: Gulli Food Distributors, Marchetti Fine Foods, and Torino Food Service.

Gulli Food Distributors
Founded in 1990 by Leonardo Gulli, Gulli Food Distributors began as a small family business in Northern Sydney, distributing cheese with a single van. Over the years, Leonardo, with the unwavering support of his wife Antoinette and their children, grew the business from its humble beginnings into a well-respected name in the food industry. Today, Gulli Foods offers over 1,000 different products, including local and imported cheeses, gourmet smallgoods, Italian pastas, antipasto, and beverages, ensuring that every meal is a celebration of quality and flavor.
Torino Food Service
Since its inception in 1988, Torino Food Service has been committed to providing restaurants, pizzerias, cafes, and other foodservice establishments with an extensive range of high-quality products. Acquired by the Carageorge family in 1991, Torino has grown significantly, driven by a commitment to competitive pricing, quality products, and personalized customer service. From international cheeses and Italian wines to cleaning products and frozen foods, Torino meets the diverse needs of its clients with unmatched dedication.
Marchetti Food Service
Established in 1970 by Fermo Marchetti, Marchetti Fine Foods has been a pioneer in importing and distributing authentic Italian and European products across Australia. Fermo’s vision was to share the exquisite tastes of his homeland with the Australian public. Marchetti Fine Foods has since become synonymous with premium quality and reliability, offering a wide range of products from smallgoods and cheeses to pantry staples and gourmet coffee. The company prides itself on being a one-stop shop for delicatessens and supermarkets seeking the finest food products.
